Ran TMACS “Set It Off” and “Turn and Burn” drills yesterday like 20 times each. Was a lot of fun, I like the idea of PT and shooting guns.
And yes Trijicon HD Night Sights are very nice pistol sights indeed!
Scrolling through my previous posts, I think this picture does the best to sum up why I loved motorcycles and riding. Not to be in a club, or at a gas station hanging out, or who can go the fastest from one stop light to the next downtown in 100 meters. It was so I could be free, to enjoy life and other beautiful things about it, the mountains in George Washington park behind me, the calm and beauty, just a few friends who all love to ride enjoying and living why they love to ride. I’ll get back there, or at least I hope I do assuming my medical condition steaming from my TBI doesn’t put a permanent end to that. And even if it does, the thought of doing something motorcycle vise for Veterans and Active Military alike has been a constant thought in my mind for quite a while now.
I still can’t believe it’s been over 14 months since I last rode my motorcycle. This was one of the last riding video’s I put together before I left, My 2011 Riding Review. But at the same time I cannot wait to start filming again and putting together video’s.
These 2 accompanied me to and from Afghanistan. Granted the Gopro got no use while I was there which was a shame but it is what it is. But the Nikon got a good amount of use, and all photo’s I’ve posted from Afghanistan here have all been taken with my s8200 you see pictured here.

New editions to the photography/video arsenal. Got the coolpix s8200 today, with the GoPro HD Hero 2 I got a few days ago.
Testing the slow motion of my new GoPro Hero 2, this is the WVGA 120fps slow to .125 original record speed. I am impressed with it thus far, I couldn’t imagine what a plugin like Twixtor would do for it :)
Really thinking about getting the GoPro HD 2 tonight, I need another POV camera and this has a lot of good upgrades, plus all my equipment for my GoPro HD all works with the newer model which is a plus. That and the 120fps recording option with a f2.8 and even faster time lapse is something that is highly enticing.
Throwing it up for “4theriders” those guys are awesome, glad I found em 4 years ago, and sad to hear they may not be able to continue doing full time anymore.
Is it recording?? Closest I will post to my face on here.
Stop Motion of my final group ride and also my final long ride of the year and for a very long time also.
